Leaving card

Three ladies I used to work with are retiring soon this is one of the cards I have made, I found it very difficult to find any verses for retirement  I wanted to put something on the inside of the gatefold a little sentiment but had to go with cute bears and a congratulations hope she likes it.

For Valentines

Just a quick easel card I made for Valentines.  I used the very cute House Mouse stamps from Joanna Sheen.  I couldn't decide which image to use so I went for both!  Papers are pink petticoat and then added paper flowers, gems and stickers to finish.

Altered Match box 2

Hi Bloggers.

This is the second matchbox I made.  It is so small next to the first matchbox I did, I struggled to decide which stamps to use to decorate it all my Tilda stamps are far to big so there was no way I could use them. I have an A5 plastic storage box which I use to keep a selection of ready stamped images which just need to be coloured.  So I had a look through and opted for this butterly.

Items Used:-
Dawn Bibby butterly stamp (from QVC)
Scrap of lace
Recycled bow (from a shop bought christmas card I received)
Gems stones
Coloured with Promarkers (as was the Tilda matchbox)

Being so small I could only add the one image, not being satisfied with this I added a little extra inside...

Stamp used inside the matchbox is by Nellie Snellen.

Both of these matchboxes make super gift boxes for small jewellery items you have bought or made. They can be used to keep the gift in or as a decorative item afterwards.

As you no doubt can tell I never did get around to sending this into Craft Stamper so I thought I would share it here with you.

Thanks for looking see you next time.

Altered matchboxes

Here is the first of the altered match boxes I made.  The idea was really taken from Craft Stamper magazine.  As I'm sure you know they do a reader swap in each issue and the theme for this was altered matchboxes using the colours duck egg blue, brown and gold.

Items I used:

Magnolia Doohickey vintage tag die,
Longing Tilda rubber stamp,
Backing paper from papermania.
Also scrap of lace, a paper rose and leaf, a gem stone and fibers.

Well this was my attempt and I was pleased with the results till I re-read the instructions that is!  Any standard sized matchbox was acceptable.  Well I didnt notice that in my rush to get started!!!  I just made a machbox! LOL  so I had to start again.....
