A distressy Tim Holtzy kinda frame

I made this last week, I'm quite pleased with it as I have been looking at this blank frame for ages and not really sure how to cover the wood where the canvas overlaps it then I remembered my Tim Holtz tissue tape I didnt look back after that.

this is using my new gilding flakes from Joanna Sheen they are by Indigo blu

Hi Bloggers

I thought I would share this little keepsake I made for my friend who has been really poorly with a bad cold lately I really hope she likes it.

I used the wonderful Jane Shasky CD from Joanna Sheen to make it, I love this CD I dont think it can ever date and has so many uses for many occasions.

I hope you like it too.

showing front back and inside, I added some stamped images for when she is feeling better and some tissues and lemsip for while she is under the weather!

HELLO and a Happy New Year !

Gosh my new year resolution was to update this blog much more often, ha well its now 25th of Jan and its my first post of the year oh dear oh dear!  OK I have failed already lets move on.

I will try much harder from now on, my trouble is I'm so busy crafting I run out of time for blogging but I will try and get into the habit of at least once a week!

Here are a few cards I have been making anyway I hope you like them.

Happy crafting XX

This is the Christmas card I made for my friend.. it goes on and on as you will see... not a card for posting...

and now the other side...

and this was the inside of the box I put it in

and the other side.....

this is an attempt at a christmas card for a man... sorry its all christmas ... I coloured the image with distress inks.  I actually used scraps of paper for the backing paper!  I'm told it was very well recieved too.

Here is a Tilda card made from my very good crafty friend from the Do Craft forum..

and a little close up on the colouring... which took ages!
Sorry back to Christmas the next few cards are my entries for the Card Making and Papercraft -card maker of the year 2011 competition.. and no I didnt win a thing.
I think there must be another photograph of this card on my camera of the rest of this card... hmm I will have a look for it when I have a bit more time..

and another that isnt christmassy

Here is a quick photograph album I made last weekend.  sorry the rose should be at the bottom, I dont know how to adjust it on the blog.. I'm still getting my head around it all !

there that is the correct way around.

and last but not least for now.. a card from the new Strawberry Kisses CD from Crafters companion and a stamped image from the same range.

up close

I did this card for a lady at work that turned 60 on Saturday.  She was thrilled with it!  I was pleased she liked it I was a bit worried it was too young but she thought it was beautiful.

A card made for a lady who had a much loved bunny that earlier this year died she really loved this and put it next to his ashes!
